Bad Brains vocalist HR, short for Human Rights, has announced a summer tour, teaming up with The Abyssinians and Mad Caddies, respectively, for a set of dates in the Southwest, UK, and West Coast. 

In 2023, HR canceled a tour citing a condition that afflicts the legendary punk and reggae vocalist with terrible headaches. Benefit shows followed, with artists and bands like Fred Armisen, Fishbone, and Sublime paying tribute to HR.

Thankfully, he seems to be doing much better. The dates follow a tour with the Dead Kennedys earlier this year. HR’s most recent album is 2023’s Let Luv Lead (The Way), which features guest spots by Passafire, Sonny Sandoval of P.O.D., Nick Hexum of 311, and rapper Chali 2na.
