He’s back, folks. Indie pop king Mac Demarco has announced a new album, and it’s called Guitar, out August 22 from Mac’s Record Label. 

Demarco is big on DIY. He produced, wrote, recorded, and mixed the new album, in addition to shooting the album cover and videos, like the one for the new single, “Home.” Back in 2023, Demarco released an instrumental album, and a 199-track behemoth called One Wayne G.
