Decoy Deloy has your music news for April 12–brought to you by Hello Merch. This week at Hello, pre-orders went live for Burden, the latest from Chicago heavy psych band REZN. It’s out June 14 on Sargent House Records. REZN dropped a supremely trippy video for lead single “Chasm”.

Blending shoegaze, psych, prog, and metal, the new album rips and Hello has your pre-orders for the magma and serpentine vinyl variants, as well as a compact disc version. This summer, REZN hits the road with Pallbearer and this fall they’re heading to Europe with Russian Circles. 

In other news: Over the years Mesa music landmark The Nile Theater has spun off into a coffee shop and a record store. This week, Nile Records took to Instagram to announce that the record shop will be moving across the sidewalk to a larger location this May. Follow them on Instagram for more details. 

And to close: members of Fishbone, Living Colour, and Steel Pulse are teaming up to benefit HR of Bad Brains on April 28 at Brooklyn Bowl. The legendary hardcore frontman has been unable to tour due to intense headaches brought on by a severe medical condition. The benefit will help put some cash in HR pocket—and cash is a necessity along with PMA, or positive mental attitude. Tickets are available now.
