
Attention all New York WASTOIDS: we’re coming to Rough Trade and Rockefeller Center’s Indieplaza September 17th and 18th—a special free festival in the heart of the city. This weekend-long concert is headlined by Ali Shaheed Muhammad of A Tribe Called Quest, as well as New Wave trio Automatic; lo-fi singer-songwriter Claud; classic indie rock sounds from Horsegirl; R&B singer Yaya Bey; Brazilian singer/songwriter Sessa; harpist Mary Lattimore, and more.
Alongside the music stage, WASTOIDS will have a booth at the Merch Friends‘ Artist Merch Market in honor of Band Shirt Day, featuring merchandise from Hello Merch, Low Level, Favorite Vegetable, City Fun Shop, plus Rough Trade vinyl bins, live screen printing from Upstate Merch, live art demonstrations from the legendary Steve Keene (check out his WASTOIDS With chat), Jose Berriolesmes
Madalyn Stefanak, Daniel Shepard, artist signings, and festival merch, DIY family fun and more.
