This edition of Out of Site, we are joined by San Fransisco’s Healing Potpourri. Lead by Simi Sohota and inspired by the band offers experimental pop bliss in the apocalyptic end-times. Stationed up on the loft at 850 W. Lincoln, tracks “Wind” and “Truly Good” from their upcoming LP Paradise. Produced by Sean O’Hagan of Stereolab and The High Llamas, it blends Sohota’s chamber pop melodies with lush synthesizers and percussion. Set for release on Run For Cover Records on August 5, the new album is available for pre-order .
