Tucson shoegazers Mute Swan have announced their new album, Skin Slip, out March 6 via Hit The North Records/Wooden Tooth Records. The announcement comes complete with a new single, “Phantasms of the Living” (ft. Sonoda), a blurry and bullish rocker centered on the concept of nonduality. Released following the tragic passing of guitarist Thom Sloane, whose playing graces the album, Skin Slip also features the previously released singles “Hypnosis Tapes,” which we’ve featured here on WASTOIDS, and “Cocteau Swan,” a team-up with Phoenix dream poppers Citrus Clouds.
