Courtney Love has long had others tell her story—but now the Hole frontwoman is preparing to tell her own with Antiheroine, a new documentary set to premiere in 2026 at the Sundance Film Fest. Directed by Edward Lovelace and James Hall, the doc features artists like Michael Stipe of REM, Hole bassist Melissa Auf der Maur, and Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong weighing in on Love’s legacy and impact, as well as her relationship with Kurt Cobain of Nirvana. In other Love news, a new solo album and memoir are also in the worlds, meaning 2026 could be a year worth living through.
