Fire in the Sky is coming to your turntable. On November 5, 1975, a forestry worker named Travis Walton disappeared in the forest near Heber, Arizona. Five days later, Walton reappeared, claiming he’d been abducted by aliens. In 1993, the story was adapted for the big screen with Fire In the Sky, and on now boutique soundtrack and home video label Terror-Vision has released the first-ever vinyl release of the soundtrack by Oscar-winning composer Mark Isham. Inspired by the sound of ‘50s sci-fi sound design, Isham’s score adds eerie tension to the film, which features one of the scariest on-screen portrayals of the abduction experience ever.
