WASTOIDS wants to show you a movie. We’re talking about Born Innocent: The Redd Kross Story. Directed by Andrew Reich, it tells the story of Southern California rock legends Redd Kross, who entered the early ‘80s punk scene as literal teenagers, and have spent the decades since triangulating glam, power pop, and alternative rock. We’re screening the flick on Friday, December 6, and Steven McDonald of Redd Kross will be there answering YOUR questions after the movie. Plus, every ticket purchased enters you into a drawing for a five-LP Redd Kross prize pack from our friends at Merge Records!

Plus: Have you ever wondered what would happen if Rod Serling from The Twilight Zone had been a veejay, or wished Robert Stack’s Unsolved Mysteries featured a lot more music videos? If so, our new show Video Vault is for you! Watch episode one now, featuring Fake Fruit, Kim Gordon, The Linda Lindas, and Ginger Root.

And speaking of great music, Argentinian rockers Alejandro Cares y Los Magos Farciar tap into the spirit of the ‘70s, offering guitar freak outs and extended boogies. They join our resident werewolf Salvador Cresta on the first episode of the third season of Midnight Music Review in the Attic, dropping TOMORROW here on WASTOIDS.
