Decoy Deloy has your news drop for May 10th brought to you by Hello Merch. This week at Hello, we can’t get enough MAC DEMARCO, and that’s good cause his latest project, One Wayne G, features a ton of Mac. Packed with 199 songs recorded between 2018 and 2023, only one format is powerful enough to contain it all, some called a “Blu-Ray.” One Wayne G is back in stock to pre-order at Hello.

In other news, independent rock icon Steve Albini of Electrical Audio in Chicago has died at 61 after a heart attack. His credits are extensive—he produced nearly 1,500 different projects for groups and artists like Nirvana, PJ Harvey, The Breeders, and so many more, as well as creating ear-wrecking music with his own groups, including Big Black and Shellac.

In other news: Duster is hitting the road. Though they toiled in obscurity in the ‘90s and early 2000s, the slowcore band’s work has been embraced by younger listeners. Their upcoming tour—which kicks off in September and runs through October—finds them playing way bigger rooms than they ever could have expected in the old days. The band’s most recent album, Together, was released in 2022. Check out their tour dates.

And to close, Sydney Sprague, Lana Del Rabies, Dolly Creamer, and TV Messages are uniting at Crescent Ballroom on Monday, May 20th for MY BODY, MY CHOICE, YOUR PARTY a benefit show supporting Healthcare Rising Arizona, which is working to make sure reproductive care remains available in Arizona.
