Mike Wartella has done it all: comix in publications like the Village Voice, Spin, Arthur; cartoons for Cartoon Network’s MAD; and music videos for artists like King Tuff, Ozzy Osbourne, The Go, and The White Stripes.

For this special episode of Midnight Music Review in the Attic, Salvador Cresta rings up Wartella to discuss his storied career and watch clips from his oeuvre. And as a special surprise, Wartella checks in with legendary artist John Holmstrom, he discusses his Ramones artwork and the upcoming return of his mythic publication PUNK.

Midnight Music Review inthe Attic is written, edited, and recorded by Salvador Cresta. Special thanks to Ben Swank of Third Man Records.
