Though she passed away in 2022, Julee Cruise‘s voice remains. A stage actress and musician with groups like Hybrid and The B-52s, Cruise is best known for her remarkable collaborations with David Lynch and Angelo Badalamenti. Together, they created Floating into the Night, a 1989 dream pop classic that incorporates music featured in the surrealist fable Twin Peaks, Lynch’s masterpiece Blue Velvet (1986), and Industrial Symphony No. 1.
