Listeners to the most recent episode of Click Vortex have heard Sam reference his buddy Ian Stupar‘s taste in jam-centric music. And for his mixtape, the chef/El Oso Negro and Fight Shy drummer/and Royal Room owner includes more than a few classic rock/blues sprawlers from artists like Taj Mahal, Richie Havens, and Dr. John in his mixtape, but he balances it out with plenty of great punk and metal from artists like Iron Maiden, Rancid, Bouncing Souls, and left-field hip-hop and alt-rock.
