Mixtape: Stinkweeds

Welcome to Mixtape, our new weekly feature where we hand the keys to the WASTOIDS Spotify account over to cool folks to share what they’re listening to.

Today’s installment comes from the crew at Stinkweeds. Opened by shoe gazer and record collector Kimber Lanning in 1987, Stinkweeds is one of Arizona’s best record shops. To assemble this mix, the Stinkweeds crew—including Lindsey, Dario, Zach, and Caleb—opted to only select picks from the record store’s pre-owned CD wall, and their selections were chosen with the season’s change from summer to fall in mind. The resulting mix is far from your standard pumpkin spice autumnal snooze. Check out Stinkweeds online, and be sure to follow them on Instagram, where they share new releases and recommendations. Oh, and be sure to return to WASTOIDS on Thursday, November 3 to hear Kimber Lanning on an all-new episode of our show Click Vortex.
