Illustrator, Printmaker, Risologist, and even Tattoo Artist… Sabrina Mellado is a jack of all trades and master of all. Sabrina Mellado is a young artist based in the city of brotherly-love that is quickly becoming in high demand for her stunning and alluring artwork. Their craft is inspired by music, medieval art, and all the weird little things in the world. Sabrina is a 2021 graduate of MICA with BFA in illustration and concetration in printmaking. When first getting into the Risograph (from a suggestion from their professor) and immediately fell in love with the textures and eye-popping colors you can achieve with a Risograph.
Recent clients for Sabrina include Angel Du$t, Peach Keli Pop, and even scene legends Joyce Manor. When working on a commission (especially a band) they will listen to the artists discography to make sure they get the right feeling for the piece. Sometimes though, they can get lost and distracted, so they’ll put on Animal Crossing music to clear their head and get a new perspective and get a clear head. Aside from making art, Sabrina loves to pick and strum on their guitar & bass. No plans to make a band at the moment, they find it very rewarding to learn a song they love to just listen to.
