It’s finally here! MC Magic joins us at WASTOIDS to perform his hit songs, “Sexy Lady,” “Missing You,” and “All My Life” with the legendary Nichole Deborah, rising corridos star Alberto H, and a full backing band with local Arizonan musicians, featuring members of Phoenix Afrobeat Orchestra, and more.
MC Magic is a prolific artist who got his start making custom songs at the swap meet for $20 a pop, utilizing beats from popular artists at the time like MC Hammer and 2Pac. Growing more and more in his abilities, he soon hit the studio to make his own music with NB Ridaz before embarking on a solo career. His first offical album, Don’t Worry quickly gained him local recognition. But really it was his 2006 release Magic City that became his magnum opus, reaching number #1 on Billboard’s Heatseeker charts, leading to crossover success.
Today, MC Magic is still grinding and staying busy, doing everything from collaborating with artists Cuco and Lil Rob, to making his very own makeup palettes.
Thank you so much for tuning in. Credits for everyone involved can be found below as well as our podcast of calls from the Magic Dedication Hotline which took over 1-877-WASTOIDS to celebrate this new episode of Out of Site.
