Decoy Deloy has your music news hit, brought to you by Hello Merch, who are saying “hello” to Justin Nozuka. The Toronto-raised songwriter’s latest is called CHLORINE. And don’t miss Justin Nozuka live at Rebel Lounge on Friday, November 1st.

Plus, Decoy drops in to check out the latest from Green Day. Not only have they been hitting stadiums with The Smashing Pumpkins, Rancid, and The Linda Lindas—they’ve launched a coffee line, Punk Bunny Coffee, and managed to get banned by two Las Vegas radio stations after Billie Joe Armstrong called the city “the worst shithole in America” while complaining about the Oakland Athletics moving to Vegas. But the coolest stuff Green Day has been up to involves the 30th anniversary of Dookie.
They teamed up with LA-based arts studio BRAIN for a wild project called Dookie Demastered, in which they presented the album in a variety of formats you’d never expect. And, Billie Joe Armstrong, Aaron Commetbus, Jason White, and Bill Schneider’s Pinhead Gunpower are back too, with a new album out now on 1-2-3-4 Go Records.
Take a listen wherever you stream tunes—and in the meantime, why don’t you give us a ring and let us know what you’re listening to these days! Just dial 1-877-WASTOIDS! To close out this episode, Decoy share his #Goregrind recommendations.
