N8NOFACE is one of the most energetic forces to emerge from the Southwest experimental underground. Originally known as part of the chiptune duo Crimekills, Nate’s since hit a streak of releases that blend synth pop, punk, and darkwave, equally indebted to groups like Screamers, Suicide, Ween, and Sleaford Mods.
For this episode of WASTOIDS WITH, we linked up with Nate learn how he tells the stories of the outlaws he grew up with in the desert on his new album Homicide, getting sober, cyberpunk, and the influence of cult R&B artist Cody ChesnuTT’s The Headphone Masterpiece—which turns 20 this year.
